NGA's Commitments to Address Hunger, Nutrition And Health by 2030
Expand access to full-service grocery stores across the country. Over two years, the National Grocers Association (NGA) will:
- Double the number of retailers offering SNAP Online -prioritizing rural areas and areas with low food access, such as agricultural communities. These areas will be identified by consulting the USDA food desert map.
- Build a toolkit for NGA members that lists resources and funding opportunities to support expansion of full-service grocery stores into USDA-designated food deserts.
