“Hometown Proud” isn’t just a slogan for Orono IGA.
In community grocery stores, seeing smiling familiar faces and fresh, local selections is normal.
These seemingly small acts have gotten the family business the title of USA Retailer of the Year by the Independent Grocer’s Alliance (IGA).
Lauded as the most prestigious honor from corporate, Orono is one of eight IGAs to earn the award out of the over 2 thousand stores nationwide.
