Sunbury, Pennsylvania-based Weis Markets has donated $350,000 to Paralyzed Veterans of America, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans with spinal cord injuries, disorders and diseases, like MS and ALS. Officials from Weis Markets presented the check to PVA on Nov. 14 at the company’s Enola, Pennsylvania, store.
This donation was raised through a six-week in-store fundraising campaign and a corporate donation. The funds will support PVA’s mission and help create a world that ensures paralyzed veterans receive the specialized, quality health care they need, the benefits they earned and the careers they want.
